11 Ways Age Of Ultron Could Still Surprise Everyone

5. Ant-Man Might Appear

Given that Ant-Man's headline movie is coming just a couple of months after Avengers: Age of Ultron, nobody is really expecting him to appear in it. Like the actors mentioned before him in this article, Paul Rudd's name has not been associated with this movie in any way, shape or form, but an appearance in the mid-credits or post-credits scene should definitely be considered a distinct possibility. Quite a big deal has been made of the fact that it was Hank Pym - the other Ant-Man (who is set to be played by Michael Douglas) - who created Ultron in the comic books and it would be a nice nod to that fact if one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Men, whether it be Rudd's Scott Lang or Douglas - was to cameo in some way. In addition to it being a nice nod, it would smoothly lead into the Ant-Man movie and give it some additional press - something it may well need, as it looks to be one of the least interest-invoking offerings in the franchise to date.
