11 Ways Age Of Ultron Could Still Surprise Everyone
4. The Civil War Might Officially Start
With only one movie in between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, there really isn't very much time to get that war in motion - especially given the fact that the movie in question, Ant-Man, is unlikely to feature any of the original Avengers - so it may well actually officially start in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Most people will be expecting the Avengers to defeat Ultron and end the movie as close as they have ever been, but that would mean having to make a very rushed Civil War movie that quickly moved from the Avengers being friends, to falling out with each other, to flat-out brawling with each other. The seeds have been planted for Civil War for some time - Iron Man and Captain America had an altercation in the first Avengers movie, as well as a ruckus with Thor, and Hulk and Thor brawled too - and Age of Ultron could see them outright separate into two factions before it finishes. It may be in the main body of the movie, it may be in either the mid-credits or post-credits scene, but the events of Age of Ultron could mean that the implementation of the Superhuman Registration Act gets under way before it's over and the teams may take shape too.
