How He Could Die: As mentioned, The Joker could go out all Bonnie and Clyde with Harley Quinn. If nothing else it would certainly be a huge shock for those expecting Jared Leto to be kickstarting a prolonged tenure as the Clown Prince of Crime.

Why He Probably Won't: It's The Joker, for the love of God. It's about 98% likely we're going to see him face off against Batman in his next solo movie, so it would be ridiculously shocking (and probably massively ill-advised) to shoot down a new iteration of The Joker so soon, especially if audiences end up loving him.

No way do Warner Bros. have the cojones to murder easily the best-loved of all the DC villains. It would be like setting a gigantic pile of money on fire.
