11 Ways Suicide Squad Needs To Set Up Future DC Movies

3. Be Bold: Tease Hawkman & Hawkgirl

They might not be classed as anyone's top level superheroes, but Suicide Squad's Midway City setting ties into the origins of both Hawkman and Hawkgirl, suggesting that they could be easily incorporated in the future.

Now, that's not to say that they should be introduced as traditional heroes: instead we should see the duo attempting to bring down the Squad believing them to be operating to traditionally evil ends. As well as having them battling a villain, that would add a whole new dynamic that is presumably only hinted at in the first movie by Batman's few scenes.

It would also allow the heroes a backdoor into the DCEU - which is probably going to be their only real chance of a movie initially. And if they work, then either spin them off or add them to a Justice League sequel. It makes perfect sense.

Of course, the best way to make them feel like legitimate presences would be to tease their existence in Suicide Squad with an Easter Egg or two.

The Hints

Well, none actually, but it would be a great move all the same.
