Turning up in all manner of action movies, most notably Fast And Furious, Machete, Resident Evil and even Avatar, shes become a dependable star quite happy with her typecasting. Hearing that Rodriguez spent time in prison conjures up images of her being a real-life version of her cinematic persona, but the truth is much more by-the-numbers for a Hollywood star. Throughout the past decade Rodriguez has clashed with the law, mostly in cases of dangerous driving. She first spent time in prison in 2003 after a spate of DUIs and hit and runs, and returned again in 2005 (it was choice between five days in jail or 240 hours of community service) and 2008 (where she served eighteen days of a 180 day sentence). The biggest loss from her drink driving, however, was probably the role of Ana-Lucia in Lost; she was killed off after an incident in Hawaii.
