2. Sir Patrick Stewart

Sir Patrick Stewart may seem an odd choice in this sort of ranking given how many roles he's had since 2010, but taking away any X-Men performances, only Green Room has been anywhere near the quality of what he should be in. Sure, there have been lots of opportunities to lend his voice to animated characters (or narrators in the case of Ted), but that's hardly prominent work either.

And if you remove that bracket of work from the equation, Stewart has done very little of note, with some serious misfires in the shape of Hunting Elephants, Christman Eve and The Wilde Wedding. And this is a period including him playing an actual poop in The Emoji Movie. It's not been great, despite how beloved he is.

Hopefully, the promised return of Captain Picard for a whole new Star Trek legacy series will be exactly what Stewart needs to really kick his work up to match his profile.
