The first Guardians movie was unexpectedly the biggest movie of 2014 and introduced the world to a lot of new talent. Chris Pratt went from chubby sitcom actor to box-office star, Dave Bautista went from semi-famous wrestler to a hilarious scene-stealer, and writer-director James Gunn went from making low-budget B-movies to one of the most in-demand directors around.
While most of the cast from the original have reached the big leagues, the sequel is also looking to break some new talent. Pom Klementieff is probably the biggest question mark in the cast with Spike Lee's Oldboy remake being her only Hollywood film to date. She'll be playing Mantis, the newest member of the Guardians, which means she's pretty much guaranteed to be a household name by the end of the summer.
As with Spider-Man, having the Marvel banner before a movie pretty well ensures it will be one of the biggest movies of the year. Judging by her brief appearance in the film's trailer, Klementieff is going to be a hilarious addition to the brilliant cast, and James Gunn has continuously praised her work in the sequel.
