6. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

Though it seemed like Neighbors 2 was going to be a pretty soulless retread of the original movie, rehashing the original premise with a gender-flip conceit, it actually ended up being one of the most hilarious studio comedies of the last few years.

From its unexpectedly feminist undercurrent to its legendary joke about Jews and ovens, it was a shockingly sturdy sequel that proved not all comedy sequels need to be excessively lazy cash-grabs.

So, what's stopping Seth Rogen and co. from tempting fate by cranking out number three? It's almost definitely a terrible idea, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

How Likely Is It?: As hilarious as Rogen and Zac Efron's tongue-in-cheek pitch for a zombie-themed threequel is, Sorority Rising's "disappointing" box office just might cause Universal to see sense.

The movie had double the budget of the original film and grossed way less than half of the original's worldwide box office, even though it basically still tripled its budget.

With such a steep box office drop, it's hard to see any incentive for the studio here, so we're probably safe. 2/10
