Though it wasn't a Frozen-sized smash hit, Disney's latest animated film was a terrifically witty and inventive subversion of the typical Disney princess formula, abetted by game vocal performances, beautiful animation and some highly memorable music.

Disney rightly keeps the sequel count pretty low for its animated movies, and with both Wreck-It Ralph 2 and Frozen 2 due over the next two years, that'll probably give fans their sequel fixes for a while. As fun as Moana was, nobody needs this.

How Likely Is It?: Though lead voice actress Auli'i Cravalho has been angling for a sequel for a while, Disney has kept totally quiet about the prospect, though that doesn't mean it's not happening. It's still an outside possibility though, thankfully. 4/10
