3. Serenity 2
Joss Whedon is one of the most talented creators working in Hollywood today. In fact it is wildly believed that over the course of six days he created the earth and then on the seventh day directed The Avengers movie. Though out of his many accomplishments few have had the impact of Firefly, a short live sci-fi western series which aired on Fox. Despite being only 14 episodes the series managed to gain a strong cult following known as Brown coats, and thanks to their support in 2002 Universal pictures brought Captain Malcolm Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity to the big screen in the film Serenity. Not a completely terrible film, but definitely not up to Brown Coats standards leaving them still wanting more.-And since a return to television seems completely out of the question that leaves only one option...A squeal. Whedon has said he'd like to revisit the world of serenity, and even has a rough concept for a second big screen adventure. This concept, as un-fleshed out as it is still sounds awesome and begs the question how do we make this happen. According to Whedon, Serenity 2 would see the return of one Jubal Early. If that means nothing to you, then you probably wouldn't care much about a Serenity squeal and should move on. Jubal Early made his debut in episode 14 of Firefly, which technically was the series final. A mentally deranged bounty hunter attempting to collect the bounty on River's head. Mal with help from River managed to send Mr. Early floating off through space but not before he incapacitated the bulk of the crew.
