12 Awful 2015 Horror Movies To Avoid This Halloween

3. Tremors 5: Bloodlines

The first film in the inexplicable Tremors series in over a decade, Tremors 5: Bloodlines once again brings franchise legend Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) into the fold, pairing him with...Jamie Kennedy!? As if the series wasn't already on life support, this'll probably be the death knell, for while Tremors 5 certainly isn't the worst film on this list, it's probably the most desperate and depressing. Even ignoring the bargain basement CGI (which still pales in comparison to the practical effects of the 1990 original), there's just nothing at all memorable or interesting about the film: it's a garden variety sequel with virtually nothing original going on. The action, script and direction are all totally forgettable, and it's tough to imagine that, after so much time has passed since the 2004 prequel, many are really going to give this one a go. Can we just give up already and reboot the damn thing? Cast a young new actor, give it a big budget, release it in cinemas and give Gummer a cameo to satisfy the old-school fans. Happy?
