12 Awful Films DCEU Actors Want You To Forget

4. JK Simmons - Cats And Dogs 2: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore

Henry Cavill Hellraiser
20th Century Fox

Yes, it takes a brave soul to diss the work of Whiplash villain and former J Jonah Jameson JK Simmons, as anyone who has seen the actor’s breakout role in brutal prison-set TV series Oz can attest. But don’t worry, we here at WhatCulture have been hitting the gym hard, so we’re pretty sure we could take on the actor given another few decades of preparation.

So it’s with a heavy heart that we’re forced to add his name to this list, since the actor’s illustrious career may include an Oscar but also somehow managed to make space for 2011’s critically lambasted Cats and Dogs 2: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, a slapstick spy sequel which fumbled the first film’s delightfully dumb fun premise of the eponymous animals as two warring sets of spies locked in eternal unseen combat right under their owner’s noses.

We’re not sure how you make "canine 007" a less than entertaining prospect, but props to this sequel for somehow managing to alienate its audience despite the killer premise.
