Happiness definitely one of the best examples of black humor out there, something that director Todd Solondz is known for. Furthermore, it is not for the faint-hearted, after all, the movie is one of just a few movies that dare to make pedophilia funny.

The film centers around 3 sisters, all as insecure and messed up as the next one. The plot skips between the multiple storylines that each sister endures. For instance, one man becomes fixated on making obscene phone calls to various women, including one of the sisters.

One character admits to murdering a man who she then chops into pieces and stores in her apartment. In another storyline, one sister's "respected" husband is revealed to be a child molester who is so bad at doing what a child molester is supposed to do, that it almost becomes comical.

It is this storyline in particular that really skirts between what is funny and what might be considered extremely shocking, leaving you with the moral dilemma of providing the answer.
