10. It Doesn't Matter Who He Is... The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Midway through The Dark Knight Rises, we had already seen plenty of Bane. He escaped from CIA custody aboard a plane in midair. He beat up and broke The Batman. His best entrance, though, was his biggest as he showed a stadium full of Gothamites what their reckoning looked like. As dozens of additional explosions erupt all over Gotham, Bane sets the stage for his public entrance by blowing up a football field, killing every player on it, save for one. He also took out the mayor with a well-placed bomb inside one of the arenas luxury boxes. Suffice to say, Bane had the attention of everyone there. Bane also had the attention of millions of viewers watching the game at home. Zod undoubtedly got more total views considering his worldwide reach in Man Of Steel, but Bane still gets credit for having the biggest, most epic entrance of any comic book villain based on body count, the threats he issued, and the fact that he actually allowed his image to be broadcast. We may have to wait for Thanos to arrive on Earth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to see a more devastating entrance.
