12 Biggest MCU Characters Without A Confirmed Return Date

10. Moon Knight

For most of the characters on this list, though there is no saying for certain right now where they will show up next, there is at least an option or two. A logical next step for either the character or their franchise, whether it has been announced yet or not. As with White Vision, Moon Knight does not fall into this category.

Outside of a bus ad for the GRC, there weren’t really any ties into the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe at all. There is literally no indication where Marc Spector, Steven Grant, or Jake Lockley will appear next.

There will almost certainly be more Moon Knight in the future, even if the people involved are playing coy for the time being. The MCU doesn’t do fully standalone projects, and so it’s impossible to think Marvel Studios brought Moon Knight to life without any intention of bringing him back again further down the line.

With no obvious crossovers on the horizon, the main expectation would be a second season of the show, though star Oscar Isaac has continually rejected such a notion. However, there was an announcement at D23 that could change the future for Moon Knight. Since the character’s comic book debut was in Werewolf by Night #32, it could be that Isaac will suit up again for the Halloween Special coming on 7 October 2022.
