Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, and John Wick director David Leitch introduced an exclusive extended look at The Fast and Furious franchise's first spin off: Hobbs and Shaw.

Leitch understood how amped the franchise has gotten and what the audience demands. THR reported the director telling the convention, "We have two of the biggest stars on the planet who are tremendous talents, who bring it like you’ve never seen it. We go around the world, we blow sh*t up."

Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson joined their filmmaker on stage. Johnson discussed how the film will mark the first time he’s seen Samoan culture depicted in a blockbuster.

Screen Rant describes a scene in the trailer as Johnson’s Hobbs holds together numerous cars to a helicopter with nothing but chains and sheer strength. The star told the crowd, “"We wanted to build out the Fast & Furious franchise and create something that was special and had its own tapestry. But bottom line, we wanted to make something that was fun."
