Yet another horror film out of Cinema Con, Crawl is being brought to cinemas from The Hills Have Eyes (2006) director Alexandre Aja, and will surely keep you out of the water for some time.

As per IMDb, Crawl is about, “A young woman, while attempting to save her father during a Catagory 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped in a flooding house and must fight for her life against alligators.”

SlashFilm divulged what the trailer consisted of,

“The house floods, and in come the alligators, who have already attacked dear old dad. From there, the footage gets suitably nutso, with Scodelario’s character essentially playing ‘The Floor is Lava’ by jumping from one kitchen counter to the next in order to avoid chomping gators below.”

What seems to start as a disaster film turns to a horrific nightmare as massive reptiles have little remorse. Sam Raimi produces the flick with Kaya Scodelario and Barry Prepper starring.

Crawl opens wide July 12, 2019.

If you talk in a theatre I'm in, be prepared to get some pretty passive aggressive stares.
