SlashFilm was live in Las Vegas when Warner Bros. showed off footage from the film, as well as a behind-the-scene exclusive from director Patty Jenkins.

Jenkins said that Diana is no longer learning her powers but now has complete control over them. Also, Jenkins explained how WW84 isn’t a sequel to the 2017 Wonder Woman, but a standalone feature.

The film blog described the action, “There was a quick fight sequence inside your standard 1980s shopping mall, complete with some incredible lasso action by Gal Gadot, and a badass shot of Diana sprinting as only a superhero can through a busy city street, assisted by wires since visual effects aren’t completed yet.”

Sadly, Wonder Woman 1984 was pushed from Fall 2019 to Summer on 2020, but Warner Bros. must have their reasons and with their last three successes (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam) being critical and financial successes, we should trust them.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be hitting theatres June 5, 2020.

If you talk in a theatre I'm in, be prepared to get some pretty passive aggressive stares.
