7. Who Is The Real Mandarin?
When Marvel and Shane Back shocked the comic-loving world by taking iconic (but massively racist) villain The Mandarin and turning him into a terrorist construct and the creation of an actor, they pissed off a lot of people. Luckily, they then wimped out and gave us Marvel One Shot "All Hail The King" that re-established that there actually is a terrorist leader called The Mandarin and that he wasn't impressed that his name was being dragged through the mud.
It was a cop out, but it leaves open an almighty loose end that surely can't stay unresolved forever...
Who is the real Mandarin and where is he? Is he still leading the Ten Rings and are they still intent on the same objectives that they had in Ant-Man's past and Iron Man's early movies? If so, that suggests that they should be coming back in a meaningful way before Iron Man's story in the MCU can be finished.
