Cloud Galactus - what more needs to be said? Well, when you think about what Galactus is like in the comics, you come to realise what a sad depiction of the great character this was. In the comic books, Galactus is presented as a gigantic humanoid in purple armour. He is an essential aspect of the universe whose very existence helps to maintain balance and order in the universe. He can speak and is visibly recognisable as a living being - which is more than you can say for this massive cloud version. Galactus possesses a whole host of esoteric powers, including - but not limited to - immeasurable super-strength and durability, teleportation, energy blasts, telekinesis, telepathy and the ability to manipulate reality itself. In the movie, however, he just consumed planets by engulfing them. Horrible. So there you have it - twelve comic book movie characters that were completely screwed by adaptation.
