12 Comic Book Movie Characters Screwed By Their Adaptation
5. Juggernaut (X-Men: The Last Stand)
In the comic books, Juggernaut isn't actually a mutant, so this depiction who was a mutant was flawed from the off. He's also Professor X's stepbrother in the comics - a fact that was neglected in the movies as well, which only made things worse. The fact that he was terribly portrayed by Vinnie Jones only served to make matters worse. Really it's as simple as this: nothing about Foxs depiction of Juggernaut was in any way acceptable for comic book fans. He looked awful, his origins weren't right, he wasn't powered by the Crimson Band of Cyttorak and he certainly wasn't powerful enough to punch through reality itself like he has done before in the comics. The guy is meant to be a serious threat to entire teams of X-Men, but he was pretended as an idiot barely capable of overpowering Wolverine. He might not be the sharpest tool in the box even in the comics, but he deserves a far better portrayal than this joke.
