11 Comic-Con Announcements The Fanboys Would Love

8. First Glimpse At Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse

The Announcement: Oscar Isaac was first cast as the supervillain Apocalypse in next year's new X-Men movie last November, and though the film began shooting over 2 months ago, there's not been a single glimpse of the bad guy. What better place than Comic-Con to give fans their first look at Apocalypse? Why It'd Be Awesome: Granted, after Days Of Future Past's success, there's no real desperation on Fox's part to rush through a hasty, spoiler-heavy marketing campaign, all the more so considering that the movie isn't out for almost a year. That said, it'd be interesting to see what sort of visual route Bryan Singer has taken with the character: will it hinge largely on make-up, prosthetics and costume, or will CGI play a big part? How Likely Is It?: 4/10. As Fox have a while to go before release, they surely don't feel the pressure to show their creation off yet, but at the same time, if they're going to reveal anything at the Con, this is one of the things that would get the most people talking.
