6. ...Or The Movie Will Feature Two Lanterns

The Announcement: On the flip side, it's possible that Warner may pull the rug out from under fans by announcing that there will be two Green Lanterns in the new movie, played by Pine and another actor, perhaps Tyrese as his fellow Lantern John Stewart. Why It'd Be Awesome: Tyrese has been vocally enthusiastic about playing the part on social media, and casting two well-known actors in dual Lantern roles would certainly give the film wider box office appeal, which after its previous failure it could certainly do with. Plus, this would likely mean that the film revolves around Lantern Corps, which is no bad thing. How Likely Is It?: 5/10. It's definitely possible, though given that "sources" have been talking about Pine's possible Green Lantern role so much without mentioning any part for John Stewart, this may suggest that it's just not going to happen. Still, the movie isn't out for another 5 years yet, so there's plenty of time to get the house in order. It just might not be at this year's Con.
