11. Harry Didn't Use His Magic Mirror

Remember when Harry saw a vision of Sirius being tortured in the Department of Mysteries and instead of waiting to check on Sirius or with literally any other member of the Order, goes to the Ministry to try and save him? Remember how it turns out the vision was fake and Harry walked into a trap that then got Sirius killed for real?

If only Harry had some sort of magical artefact that could help him check in with Sirius to see if he was genuinely under threat. After all, Harry had been told to expect Voldemort to try and exploit their mental link.

Well, he did, didn't he? He had his magic mirror that Sirius gave him to contact him directly whenever they're apart. Only he didn't really give it a second thought. In the interest of protecting Sirius and not wanting to draw him out of his secret hiding place, Harry effectively signed his beloved godfather's death warrant.
