3. "Okavango" - Blood Diamond
What's the best way to stop pretty much everyone who might have gone to see your movie from seeing it at all? By calling it "Okavango," of course, which was the unfortunate title that Blood Diamond started out with when it was but a script sitting on the desk of some Hollywood executive. The title refers to an inland delta in Botswana where the original script was set. Not many people have heard of it, though, nor were they likely to be so enamoured with the word that they forced their families into the car at once so they could go check it out - "hurry up, honey... forget the kids!" Which didn't happen with Blood Diamond, either, but, hey, at least that title has a ring to it.
