5. "Mechanismo" - Blade Runner
"Mechanismo." I'm not sure what else to say about this one, except for the fact that it's weird, and that I hate it, and that I'm so glad that Blade Runner didn't end up sounding like an android's orgasm when it finally shipped into theatres. It was probably a good idea that they changed the title from the source material's "Do Android's Dream Of Electric Ship?" simply because it's a bit heavy for a movie title, but even that would have been better than "Mechanismo." What has that even got to do with Blade Runner? At least other working titles such - as "Android" and "Dangerous Days" - made sense, but this one... this one feels plucked out of nowhere.
