12 Film Cameos That Were Cut From Theatrical Release

3. Wil Wheaton €“ Star Trek: Nemesis

Actor and writer Wil Wheaton, known to some as the former enemy of Sheldon Cooper played Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation and subsequently made a brief appearance in the 2002 Star Trek Film, Star Trek: Nemesis, that starred Patrick Stewart as Jean Luc Picard. While Wheaton can be seen during the wedding of William T. Riker and Deanna Troi, the majority of his dialogue within the film was cut. His scene involves meeting Jean-Luc again at the wedding and subsequently becoming distracted by the attraction of a female guest at the wedding. For fans of Star Trek it€™s a nostalgic addition and can be seen as a shame that this snippet was eventually cut from the theatrical release. Star Trek: Nemesis was met with lukewarm reviews and wasn€™t successful at the box office, barely making its $60 million budget back.
