Sony's sequel to the surprise smash-hit Venom is currently shooting under the guidance of new director Andy Serkis, and a series of set photos have given fans a glimpse of Woody Harrelson's villain, Cletus Kasasdy, who first appeared in the post-credit sequence for the original blockbuster.

The scene being filmed seems to be an action set-piece featuring Kasady's symbiote double, Carnage. However, the first thing fans will no doubt notice is that the horrendous wig from Harrelson's first appearance has been swapped out for far more natural-looking ginger hair.

Tom Hardy also revealed a look at the character in a now-deleted Instagram post, so expect to see that reappear in an official capacity, as well as a teaser trailer in anticipation of its October release date.
