3. U Is For Unearthed
Admittedly, the ABCs of Death films are not well-loved and for mostly good reasons. There are certain shorts in these anthology films that are worth your time though. Ben Wheatley's contribution is one of those. It's a vampiric first-person narrative where you, as the audience, are on the run from villagers trying to kill you.
That's all there is really to this short, but its effectively done and is injected with enough that particular Ben Wheatley brand of British folk-horror that it remains unique and engaging throughout. It's perhaps more of a stylistic exercise than anything, but it's an adept one made by a filmmaker who proves time and time again that he can direct horror expertly.
