12 Greatest Ever Character Entrances In MCU History

8. Hulk (Avengers: Infinity War)

There have been some incredible callbacks throughout the history of the MCU, and with 27 movies and counting under the umbrella, there is no lack of opportunity to reference something that happened potentially years ago. This was the case at the very beginning of Avengers: Infinity War.

Thanos had boarded the Asgardian ship carrying Thor and co. from Surtur’s destruction, he had all but destroyed the God of Thunder and everyone on board, and was zeroing in on the Space Stone.

When Loki came face to face with the Mad Titan, being judged for his failure to procure the stone for Thanos in the Battle of New York, he had at least one trick left up his sleeve. Much like Earth’s Mightiest Heroes had six years earlier, he had a Hulk.

This was epic on so many levels. The fact that Banner came out of nowhere to attack Thanos, that it was Loki who introduced the Hulk after everything they had been through, and referencing himself in the ‘we’ that essentially completed his arc from villain to hero, the Hulk couldn’t have been brought into the movie in a better way.
