3. Godzilla Vs. Kong - The Battle of Hong Kong
Godzilla and Kong have finally had their eagerly-anticipated battle... and it didn't disappoint.
In 2021's Godzilla Vs. Kong, their first fight (a confrontation at sea) is a bit disappointing as it's rather poorly edited, but the Hong Kong-set finale is absolutely superb.
The fight between Godzilla and Kong (which Godzilla ultimately wins) is a beautifully choreographed ballet of badassery that mixes suspense and fun with ease, while the stunning special effects and beautiful setting of a neon-lit, night-time Hong Kong send it up even further.
It doesn't end there though. Although Kong and Godzilla teaming up to take down the Mecha-Godzilla was predictable, this fight was still another excellent action scene that allowed this somewhat hit-or-miss film to conclude on a soaring high.
