9. Turner And Hooch - Hooch

Who would have thought that Tom Hanks and Beasley the slobbery dog would make the perfect team? This supposedly comedic crime drama claims to be one of those feel good films but then the dog gets SHOT and dies on screen. Talk about your downer endings. Turner becomes Hooch's adopted father after the dog's owner is shot and Turner, being an incredibly odd policeman, sees Hooch as his chance to solve the case being the only eyewitness to the crime. Hooch is obviously a nightmare of a dog, ruining Turner's house and car but he has a good heart, which he sacrifices for Turner by taking a bullet for him. Luckily it isn't all doom and gloom for Turner as Hooch got lucky before his death and had lots of gorgeous little puppies with his lady friend, including one that looks exactly like Hooch and acts like him too. So it's like Hooch never even happened anyway. There you go kids, you're all easily replaced.
