12 Horror Films That Will Scare You Senseless In 2020

There's a collection of folks that feel John Krasinski's directorial debut should have remained as it was, which was an ultra tense horror/ post apocalyptic treat, with a inspired gimmick at its core - one that started being riffed on (read: ripped off) the moment it was released in 2018.

But let's face it, we all care too darn much about what happens to the Abbott family so, coupled with a very healthy box office return, it was inevitable Paramount would give the nod to a sequel.

With the recent release of the sequel's teaser anticipation levels are already rising with the film looking to pick up straight where we left off, as Emily Blunt's Evelyn and her brood try and go it alone. This time around she's aided (?) by a beardy Cillian Murphy and with a bit more budget behind it this time around we're set to see a lot more of those long limbed beasts that hate people making a racket. Better still, a flashback structure seems to be in place so there could be scope to see the even beardier Krasinski in a cameo role.

This is without a doubt the horror movie that will excite and scare us the most in 2020 and, if you disagree, just shhhhhh.
