9. Eddie Murphy - Vampire In Brooklyn

A flop for both Scream helmer Wes Craven and foul-mouthed stand up icon/ later family film hero Eddie Murphy, 1995’s Vampire In Brooklyn has been rightfully reappraised in recent years as a camp classic, with most of its appeal owing to the superb chemistry between Murphy and his love interest Angela Bassett.

Whilst The Boondocks star John Witherspoon admitted he loved making the flawed flick, Murphy disowned it completely, claiming he was hampered by the corny wig his character wore and reportedly verbally abusing Sandler favourite David Spade for mocking his role in the film on American comedy staple Saturday Night Live.

Of course, the next year brought Scream and The Nutty Professor for Craven and Murphy, whereas Spade was most recently seen starring in The Wrong Missy, so....
