12 Horror Movies So Bad Actors Completely Disowned Them
4. Mila Kunis - American Psycho 2
A sequel to The Notorious Bettie Page filmmaker Mary
Harron’s brilliant 2000 adaptation of American Psycho in name only, the
entirely unrelated direct-to-DVD release American Psycho 2 was disowned upon
its release by an embarrassed Less Than Zero author Bret Easton Ellis, the
scribe behind the original novel.
The film’s star, That 70’s Show heroine Mila Kunis, is still embarrassed over a decade on by her early starring role in this dud, wherein she plays the title role of a murderous college student who is apparently an estranged relative of Christian Bale’s iconic Patrick Bateman—not that she inherited any of his satirical purpose, wit, style, or memorability.
Still though, at least she got to share some scenes with, er, William Shatner, who is in this film for some reason?
