12 Iconic Story-Lines DC Film Universe Must Adapt Next
9. Spotlight: Cyborg
One of the more surprising parts of Warner Bros' plans for their DC Cinematic Universe is the inclusion of Cyborg in the Justice League, a character that up until recently was known more for his affiliation with the younger Teen Titans superhero posse. Not only will he be part of Zack Snyder's two Justice League films, but he will also got a solo film of his own, with young theatre actor Ray Fisher starring in the 2020 release. Which is even more surprising. Not only is Cyborg mostly known as a member of the Teen Titans, but he's very rarely seen in his own title. The character's appeared in a couple of solo miniseries and ongoings over the years, but they never last. Vic Stone, who will also apparently appear in Batman V Superman, isn't exactly a boring character (injured kid's life saved by pioneering robotocist parents). What everyone can agree on, though, is that his issues of Teen Titans Spotlight are amongst the best stories starring Cyborg. Mark Sable, Ken Lashley and Carlos Magno's 2008 miniseries saw Vic trying to stop an evil corporation from using his fathers stunning technological advancements for evil and profit, before facing down a sort of Cyborg 2.0. That's a good place to start maybe throw in some bits from an earlier, eighties Spotlight issue that saw him tackle Two-Face.
