9. The Nightmare Before Christmas
Difficulty Rating: 8/10 A staple option for a lot of pumpkin carvers, thanks to the diverse and colourful characters, and the enduring legacy created by Tim Burton's magnificent creation, which is perennially brought back to shelves around this time of year by the Disney Store for further inspiration. The animation offers a near infinite bounty of opportunities for designs: you could approach a more complex scene like that above, which would require some good dexterity, or a more simple, less challenging design like Jack Skellington...
