Remember when the only thing that could permanently hurt Wolverine in his "Origins" movie was an adamantium bullet (because of the fact he was laced with the stuff)? Well, we think something similar occurs here. Captain America's shield is clearly broken in the trailer. Being made of vibranium, it was supposed to be unbreakable. So what could be capable of breaking it? More vibranium, of course! As a result, it's pretty safe to assume that Ultron broke the shield whilst in his vibranium body - something that he was probably busy making in this scene... Having something made of vibranium breaking something else made of vibranium makes a little bit more sense than anything else we can think of.
