One highly memorable scene from Batman Begins involves Batman's interrogation of corrupt Detective Flass (Mark Boone Junior), yanking him into the air and hanging a terrified Flass upside down as he quizzes him about Falcone's drug supply, before growling the terrific one-liner, "Swear to me!" This is reminiscent of a scene from the 1996 comic Batman: Haunted Knight, where in the story "Fears", Batman is on the hunt for the Scarecrow, and similarly hangs a man upside down with one of his Bat-contraptions in the rain. Both do a fantastic job of selling just how intimidating the Caped Crusader can be.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
