A comedy about Bill Murray being stranded in Afghanistan that also stars Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel, and Danny McBride. Are you sold yet? Because you should be. In Rock The Kasbah, Richie Lanz (Bill Murray), a down on his luck rock manager, discovers an amazing young singer (Zooey Deschanel) who he hopes will turn his career around. He decides to take her to Kabul, Afghanistan to compete on Afghan Star, only to find himself abandoned, broke and without his passport. From there, hijinks presumably will ensue.

Basically, it looks like two hours of Bill Murray being placed in an unfamiliar environment so he can be cynical and sarcastic about everything, and although it probably won't be reinventing the wheel or changing lives around the globe, who can resist a fun Murray comedy when done right? He's one of those actors where everything he does is worth a watch just for the sheer enthusiasm and goofiness he brings to it, and a fantastic supporting cast like this one to back him up sure doesn't hurt.
