Sold for: $1,560,000 The clothing fashioned from curtains that feature in musical classic The Sound Of Music are as iconic as the film itself, particularly noted for the scene in which Julie Andrew's teaches her crowd of seven children to sing. All of the outfits, including Maria's brown dress, were sold together in 2013 for over one and a half million, reiterating the ongoing popularity of the film. The costumes were sold as part of a movie memorabilia auction that also included the likes of a Nautilus diving helmet from 1954's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
