12 Most Likely Villains For The Next MCU Spider-Man Trilogy - Ranked

The Prowler is one of two villains on this list who's been teased, but whose tease hasn't been paid off just yet.

We know that the Prowler exists in the MCU - at least, we know his alter ego does. Aaron Davis appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming, where he was played by the incomparable Donald Glover. Last we saw, he was buying weapons from Vulture's crew and lamenting the release of those weapons into his nephew's neighbourhood. It seems like a waste to set up such a significant character (especially in his relation to Miles Morales, who is also confirmed to exist in the MCU), only to not utilize him in any meaningful capacity.

There's a very real possibility that we see the Prowler again in the future. He could be the means by which the MCU introduces Miles, he could be a villain, or - as it happened in one comic storyline - he could form an uneasy alliance with Peter to fight Scorpion (but we'll get to him later).

There are plenty of places they could go with Aaron Davis, and with an actor as charming and capable as Donald Glover, they'd be stupid not to pull on that thread.
