While there will be many who will legitimately come to the defence of many films in the DCEU, in particular Dawn of Justice and Birds of Prey, it's hard to find anyone willing to lay praise on the extremely mediocre Justice League. The mish mash of ideas from multiple Directorial visions, a rushed post-production process and same dreadful re-shoots made for the most disappointing project in the DCEU so far.

The one scene of the film that did manage to work extremely well was the first scene in which the 'team' fiught together. Superman may not be present, but the scene in which Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and The Flash team up for the first time to take on Steppenwolf and the Parademons is one that doesn't get the credit it deserves. From Batman's "save one" speech to the Flash, Cyborg's saving of his father, Batman's use of weaponry and Flash's 'fingertip' assist to Wonder Woman, the scene proves to be great epic fun.

Aquaman's last minute entrance is also handled well, an excellent entry for a character we know little about. Like most characters here, a solo entry prior to Justice League would have been greatly beneficial for us to be truly invested with him, but the filmmakers at least manage to give Arthur Curry as good an introduction as could be hoped for in the circumstances.
