5. For Somebody To Reference The Joker - The Dark Knight Rises

All right, so this should probably be filed under "fanboy wish fulfilment," but it's not exactly hyperbolic to say that almost everyone was still probably listening out for the duration of The Dark Knight Rises, just in case somebody mentioned The Joker. Sure, Christopher Nolan had already said during the pre-production stages that he wouldn't include any Joker-related moments out of respect for Heath Ledger, but he also said that about Robin, too, didn't he? Yes. So whereas there was probably no actual reason for this moment to exist, given that The Dark Knight Rises was the sequel to a movie where The Joker was pretty much everybody's favourite part, movie-goers were presumably still listening intently just in case Alfred said something like, "It's like that strange painted fellow you fought before, Master Wayne," or Commissioner Gordon, upon meeting Bane, mutters, "I thought we'd dealt with enough clowns in this city already." HAHA.
