Sacha Baron Cohen is no stranger to milking awkward laughs from people, and milking is the key word when it comes to the "Elephant scene" from Grimsby. Around the midway point Cohen’s “loveable” idiot and his spy brother are caught out in the open in South Africa, and decide the best course of action is hiding inside an elephant’s vagina.

That’s gross enough, but then a horny male elephant comes calling to mate with that elephant, with his member “hilariously” whacking the trapped spies in the face. They then have to “milk” the elephant in order to escape, in a sequence where Cohen is clearly going for some kind of gross-out world record.

The scene is clearly designed to be the signature setpiece, but it’s far too childish and forced.
