12 Movie Spin-Offs You Didn't Know Were Coming

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse might have ended up drawing the lowest box office figures of all Spider-Man movies, but it can also very much claim to be the best of them all too. And hopefully, the critical reception and fan appreciation (plus home release sales) will mean Sony don't cancel their plans for follow-ups.

A sequel is already coming to continue Miles Morales' story, apparently, but Sony have also laid out plans for a Spider-Women spin-off that will follow Spider-Gwen and introduce other female Spider-Verse characters including Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman and Cindy Moon. Lauren Montgomery and Bek Smith have signed on as director and screenwriter, respectively.

Anything that expands that story is very welcome and Spider-Gwen could mean big bucks for Sony as long as fans come out for the sequel and spin-off a little more enthusiastically.
