12 Movie Spin-Offs You Didn't Know Were Coming

9. Negan

As well as the much-publicised Rick Grimes movie (or movies) that will close out Andrew Lincoln's association with The Walking Dead, AMC are apparently looking at other possibilities for spin-offs. And according to Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Negan is firmly in line to have his own story adapted out into its own release.

Morgan spoke to ComicBook.com at Comic Con this year to reveal not only that a Negan movie is under discussion but that the network seem to have a timeline for it too. Or that's what he seems to be hinting, at least:

"I know that it's been discussed. I, we gotta do it before I get any older, I mean, pretty soon I'm not gonna be able to be the young Negan anymore."

So that would mean a prequel, unless Negan's going full Benjamin Button or something. That also means the film would probably be an adaptation of the Here's Negan comic, which follows what Negan was up to when the outbreak happened and the origin story of Lucille.
