1. Saw: Legacy Is Currently Being Written
It's been known for some time that another Saw film was in the works, though most evidence pointed towards it being a reboot of the classic horror franchise. However, it turns out that the now-titled Saw: Legacy will in fact be a sequel, the eighth film in the series and presumably linking closely to the events of 2010's Saw 3D. Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger (Sorority Row, Piranha 3D and Piranha 3DD) are touted to pen the script, which... isn't very encouraging... at all. In many ways a reboot makes more sense, so don't be surprised if this sequel is really just a stealth reboot anyway. What do you make of these spoilers for the past week?
