7. X-23 Will Appear In The Wolverine 3
We know that The Wolverine 3 will be Hugh Jackman's final time playing the iconic mutant, and he'll be joined by both Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier and Boyd Holbrook as the movie's villain.
We now know that mutant X-23 aka Laura Kinney will also appear in the film. She is the result of an experiment performed to clone Wolverine, and so retains most of his physical attributes, specifically his healing factor and adamantium skeleton.
There's already firm belief among many fans that X-23 may be introduced in order to take over from Wolverine after he bows out of the franchise, but that of course remains to be seen. The casting department certainly have their work cut out for them, but it'll be great to see Logan standing toe-to-toe with his female equivalent.
