12 Movies You Probably Hated The First Time Round (But Loved The Second)

The First Time: "It's funny, sure. I love all the actors, but I would have found this a lot funnier if all my friends hadn't already told me how much they love Lamp. And there's points where I'm not sure if I'm supposed to laugh or not." The Second Time: Much like Napoleon Dynamite, it suffers from being over-quoted in the general lexicon, such that you've already heard most of the funny bits, and the insistence of so many students that it's The Best Movie Ever just adds even more pressure for people to enjoy it. But that second viewing, away from all that, is most certainly a joy. The laughs come a lot more relaxed, and though the film's style of humour is certainly not for everyone, it's a film that's much easier to enjoy once you know what you're in store for.
